Best Road Bike Tape
bicycle wheels black paint?
Okay, I asked this, while doing one and the answer I gave was marginal at best. For So I would like to paint my road bike tire black to go with my black body, red wheels and the bureaucracy. I already sanded the edges down, but I'm not sure about the painting process. I've heard people say NO to paint the edges, but I'm NOT about to spend + $ 200 on a pair of 27 "wheels black. Also I am aware of the situation of the brakes. Is there anything I can spray on the edges after the brakes to avoid ruining the paint job? Any help is appreciated.
I do not think this is a good idea at all. I know of no tires on the braking surface has been painted as this would reduce braking effectiveness and, indeed, be prone to wear. I think the wheels have a black braking surface have almost certainly been anodized and this is not something that will be capable of. However, even This will wear constant wear of brake pads.
