Best Used Bikes Nyc

What kind of dog should I get (Breed)?
I live in an NYC apartment, It is medium sized, 2 bedrooms… I have numerous parks and dog runs near me, and central park right around the corner. Which would be best in the summer on the beach. Also which would be best with kids. And I know some of these breeds many people use simply to look tough, don’t worry, I am not one of those people. These are the breeds I am considering. An American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, Rottweiler or Rhodesian ridgeback. They would get sufficient excercise, 3 walks during the day plus a run when I get home. Also in the summertime biking and running on the beach.
I don’t know where you people read that I am renting an apartment? I am not, I own my home. There are no Breed Restrictions, and stop suggesting small dogs, I hate those things.
A Rhodesian Ridgeback should not go to a family unless they have a HUGE yard for the dog to be in. They like to spend a lot of time outside alone as well as inside with the family. Bull Terriers tend to be nippy when your kids are playing with friends if the dog deems the friends are playing “too rough.”
Rottweilers would do better in a larger home even with all that exercise.
It sounds like you have just enough space and plenty of time to exercise an AmStaff or Pit Bull. If you can locate a Staffordshire Terrier (different from an American Staffordshire) that sounds like it would be best. It fits the pit bull look you seem to like and they’re nickname is The Nanny Dog. They LOOOVE kids and act like babysitters/nannies.
This breed would do well in a medium sized apartment, loves kids, and would enjoy all the exercise it would get.
NOTE::: Check with your landlord to see if there are breed restrictions written into your lease. Some places won’t allow pit bull type dogs because they are labeled as aggressive and dangerous. Poor babies… they’re such sweeties!
