Panniers vs trailer on bike routes?
I'm a mile charity tour-1000 in France / Spain / Portugal in the summer with 3mates. We are being self sufficient (tents or bags etc) so can anyone with experience suggests that the way to carry would be better? ta guess if we're going to tow then go with a problem and take turns to carry the remaining racks.
Trailers are less preferable than the saddle, although it may seem counterintuitive. They change the handling characteristics of the bike rather than bags. In addition, make the profile of the widest bike more susceptible to crosswinds and traffic. Finally, when you stop to rest or get the people is more complicated to make his way with trailers.
