Bike Buying Guide Size

Never took a test of the motorcycle in the UK?
I'm considering buying a motorcycle, I have 42 years and never passed a bike test in the United Kingdom. I had a car license for 24 years and a heavy vehicle class 1 license for 15 years. I also rode bikes 250 cc until changed 125 cc law "L" plates I know I can ride a "moped" without any training, CBT etc, but I've been told I can ride a bike largest learn and take my CBT test. Is this true and what size bike you can use, I have no intention of going in the top with the size bicycle, maybe 600 cc, as many fast enough for my needs. A general guide to the cost of CBT was seen and there is a theory / perception test hazards or do not need to take them because my other road experience. Any help is appreciated.
I fear that his experience in licensed cars and a motorcycle before 250cc not make any difference. You first have to do your CBT (Compulsory Basic Training), which is basically a training day that takes you on a 125cc motorcycle. At the end of the day, will be issued a certificate will be valid for two years. Your CBT certificate allows you to drive a motorcycle 125cc with L plates (no passengers or motorway). Then, you have to do a motorcycle theory test and practical to obtain your full motorcycle license (You can make your theory before the CBT, if you want but can not practice until you have your CBT and theory). The cost of CBT costs between £ 80 – 140 pounds depending on the training company that uses (it's worth shopping around.) A lot of training companies offering motorcycle packages including the fees of CBT, training and testing. Well done for the election of two wheels! , O)
