Bike Drive Shaft
Advantages of belt/chain driven ver. shaft driven bikes?
I am looking to by a bike for myself in which I am a beginner, and am looking for the pros vs cons of belt driven to shaft driven. Also any suggestions for a good beginner bike from you exp. road dogs would be app.
Belt and chain drives are easy to work on and replace when necessary but require more maintenance, Shaft drive is virtually maintenance free except for the yearly oil change.
