So is it possible to survive in the wilderness with these things for about 5 years?
You know I kind of like this.It reminds me of the dreams I had when I was a little younger.I can only assume you will have access to replenish your supplies by using your dirt bike. You will not last the 5 years with out being able to do that. But you will have to have a good slicker suit, and a heavy duty winter jacket. Plus depending on the area you live in, unless it is the deep south, you will need a pair of insulated boots. And I would suggest a good pair of rubber boots such as the Lacrosse Alpha Max to use while fishing. And you will need much more then 10 lures because fishing will probably be the quickest and easiest way to get a source of food.Game can get very scarce at times. And you should try it for a week or so, maybe even a month before you go for any greater length of time- this way you can fine tune your equipment. My dreams used to be living in the woods and getting rich by trapping for a living, or going to Alaska and panning for gold. Then one day I discovered girls, and my dreams took a different road.In retrospect, I sometimes wonder if I should have stuck with my first two dreams.Life would have been simpler. (just joking about that)
