Bike Fitting Calculator

Is a 55cm bicycle right for me? Height 5’7, inseam 33 inches?
I just ordered a Bianchi hybrid/commuter bicycle online because they don’t sell them in the US anymore and so I couldn’t get properly fitted at a bike shop. I had to make do with info I found on the web, charts, frame size calculators, etc.
I am 5′ 7 (170 cm), and my actual inseam (not my jeans, my real inseam) is 33 inches (84 cm). I’m female, and I bought a “men’s” bike because I don’t like those step-through frames. The only sizes they offered were 47 – 51 – 55.
Did I make the right decision getting the 55 cm? Do you think it will fit me?
Will the fact that this is a hybrid make a difference? All the calculators I used were for road bikes more or less.
You have fairly long legs for your height, which means that you probably have a short torso. Not knowing the exact model you bought, it is difficult to know how long a top tube your new bike has. My guess? The bike is probably too big for you.
