It's a 52/18 gear ratio fixie too fast?

I recently bought a fixed gear bike used road that is configured 52/18 with 27 "tires. Since I live in Denver I have not been able to walk yet because of ice. I checked some of the calculators of the relationship conflicing transmission and got answers. Is this hard drive ratio? I want to train on this bike rides on 20 to 30 miles are fairly flat with some hills (Denver Central and South). What is a 52/18 ratio most appropriate? If I have to go back into the dish size, I would do it soon while the time is still wrong.

Arts Development is the distance travel by bicycle with a pedal revolution. It is also the key to finding the answer to your question. To include the development of fishing gear, use this formula: (GD in feet) = (# teeth plate) / (# gear teeth) XX 27inch 3.14 / 12 To find the speed in miles per hour, use this formula: GD = XX 0.0114 MPH RPM (RPM where is your cadence) So with the bike would set up.the GD 20.41 meters, and her master say, a cadence of 90 RPM would be 20.94 MPH. That is a quite reasonable speed for a walk alone. In a typical trip is extended from 70 RPM to 115 RPM. That would give you a great comfortable speed of 16-27 MPH. If your property (and legs) to support that, then you are good to go! If not, then you can use the above formulas to find the perfect settings for you. Hope this helps!
