Bike Gearing Inches

hey I go around 104-110rpm with a march of 20 inches and going about 15 mph is this good?
and one thing I was thinking more and I have a mtb bike road and with a 80inch i march on my road bike, but you can fly, but to get my mtb to go from 15 to 20 mph and get it moving I have to go a team of 20.3 inches and I was thinking why is this so it is on a 8% more mountain can swin
In short, it is much more difficult to reach 20 mph on a mountain bike in a road bike. 15 mph is a good average speed with a MTB, but I would think that is a high rate to achieve that speed – on my MTB that can accelerate to about 25 mph on the floor without too many problems and generally average around 15-16 mph. To go 15 mph my cadence would of about 80rpm.
