I need help with parts of the mountain bike!?

Hay guys, I have a hardrock 2004, and I just Rear derailleur: Shimano Deore LX SGS Derailleur: Shimano Deore LX, the first extraction. Currently I have a x-flow truvantive crank. so my problem is I have a speed of 7 and 9 is a speed derailleur. Anyone can tell if my front crank is compatible for the front derailleurs, cassette and what gears i can get for 9 SPD conversion … my budget is $ 60 for all, even off the handle if I have to change it and I have a 9spd shifters … I just need to know what kind of gears i need
