Bike Rack Hitch Mounted
Hitch bike rack or roof bike rack?
I’m thinking about changing my trunk mount bike rack. I’m afraid that its not that secure that the straps might break. I have a 2009 VW jetta and wanted an alternative without any changes done to my car when installing the bike rack like drilling. Install a hitch or a roof bike rack? Thanks
I have both a roof rack and a hitch rack. Of the 2, the hitch rack is much more convenient, takes less than 1 minute to install. But if I am driving any real distance with my bike, I put it inside my car in the back seat where it is protected against the elements and theft
