Bike Tour Nyc Traffic

NYV 5 boro bike tour?

We did the NYC five boro bike tour in May for the first time last year, and we had a great time. I noticed quite a few bars along the route – each of which had a few bike parked outside. Is there anyone with a list of bars olong the route, more or less an “informal” five boro bike/bar tour? We are coming from PA, and are not familar with the area.

Also – last year we parked in Staten Island and took the ferry across. Traffic was terrible – were were a good hour and a half late, along with a few hundred others who had to wait in traffic as well. Any other suggestions – Hoboken?

If you are going to park on Staten Island I would suggest that you find a place to park somewhere along the rail line in the borough and take the train up to the ferry. Once you come across the Outerbridge, you would drive down to one of the 21 stations along the line, leave you car there and take the train up to the ferry. The train is $2.25 per, a lot cheaper than any parking lot.
