Taking your cat to the vet without a car?
I have no cat at the moment but in ten years I will. Maybe in my thirties, but anyway, I want to ride a bike to do my shopping, grocery stores, a short distance to travel, work, etc., but what about my cat and annual checkups to the vet's office? "I can go to him / her or maybe just put him in a cardboard box with a toy and just carry the box all the way the vet while walking on foot? Any suggestions? Do not tell me to take a taxi, borrow a friend's car, steal a car just so you can take / there, ask borrowed my father's car, the car's brother, etc. Any suggestion that it is not impossible? put the cat in a cardboard box and then out in public is a bad idea. she was frightened by the new environment and jumping. cats have, in their confusion, run on busy streets because of their fear. would be horrible. a cat carrier is the best way forward. I would not recommend to attach to your bike – if you lose your balance will fall, and the cat will not have room to move and capture his car. if you should not use a car, and if public transport does not allow a cat in a carrier (in Toronto do), then you have to walk. it could be winter, and if so, will have to think about how to keep the cat warm. the truth is that the more time is transported in the car and near strangers, the angrier they will become. it may be impossible to consider when you do get to the vet and that will be the drug just to check his vital signs. I think his desire to be committed to the environment (I'm assuming this is why we are dedicated to the idea motorbike) is wonderful, but if the veterinarian is not near you, the result will be very unpleasant for your cat. I'm speaking from experience – I have a car, and not I am strong enough to take my cat all the way to the vets. my friend has done, and when he got there the cat was so little afraid everyone in sight and retired under the table. that cost a hundred dollars that numb, just so I could check. a taxi would have been twenty dollars and would have saved my little individual to be so frightened that he urinated.
