Help * * Any bike messengers in New York?
Summer is almost over and winter is just around the corner, so I'm thinking in working as a bike messenger here in Manhattan to earn extra money on the side. My question is … Does anyone here ever worked as a messenger on a motorcycle? I need some tips and advice A little story about me, I worked as a bike messenger in the early 90's for 2 years and I have some experience, I am a native New Yorker and resident of Manhattan, so I know the city like the back of my hand. I am an experienced rider "12 years under my belt" So this is what I have curious to know ….. How many races in one day is possible in a scooter in Manhattan? delivery is to pay the same as a messenger bicycle or add anything? Are traffic cops harass bike messengers? And they frequently give out tickets?
Well dude, if you observe traffic regulations and not zig zag the way to the next destination, it is clear harassment. Also if you ride a scooter or motorcycle is up where appropriate. Why pay to be different. Put it in a honest day's work and do it with confidence. Leave the rest to God. He will be your guide.
