What would it cost to fix the gears on my bike?
So ….. My brother was riding my bike one day and the "circle of the arts "in the back of the bike twisted 45 degrees and was caught in the wheel well. I basically know what happened. My brother likes to have on my bike, ride, and then drop it on the grass, which I think is the reason for something in the gears bent just enough to hook and pull same. My bike is not even a year old. This is a Schwinn Jaguar and seems to be in the 50's. I really do not want to have to buy a new one unless the price fix the bike is worth it. I live in central Iowa, so if you could give me a bike shop too, that would be helpful! If you need any information, just ask! Thanks again!
I can not recommend the bike shops in Iowa cos I live in UK, but it sounds as if knackerd your derailler. my partner recently broke and cos £ 20 to get fixed. sorry i do not know how many dollars is not that better take a good Bicycle repair shop cos Relly gears are difficult to solve unless you know yet what he is doing.
