motorcycle electrics 2?
Right thank you all for your reply,its the starter switch that is tripping out, i`ve disconnected it from the starter motor, then tried it again it just clicks but does`nt trip out ,could it be the starter motor that is stuck,the bike has been standing for a while,& i have had the side casing off before now??????
didnt see ur previous ?
first take starter off and connect + and – to a battery if it throws in and spins thats fine.
2nd get a push button starter (about 4 quid from motorshops) and wire that up it will cut out ur starter button on the handle bars
dont know what bike u have but on some models the horn s earth is wired to the starter button ..does the horn work/..
some more bike info and problem is needed
