Exercise Bike Knee Pain

Right knee, dull aching pain for months?
My right knee used to hurt all of the sudden if I had been sitting down for a while or riding my bike, and what helped me was to extend it. For the past couple of days, the pain is getting gradually more and more worse – it is always a dull aching pain, whether I am walking, standing or sitting. Today the pain traveled up my leg, to about 4 inches above my knee, and that pain is more of a burning pain than a dull aching pain. I have to limp a little bit to get to where I am going. I’m only 21 and I don’t do any intense high-impact exercise or activity. I walk more lately, but I didn’t think it was enough to agitate my knee so much.
Has anyone had pain like this? Could you tell me what your doctor said about it, or what helps? Is it worth going to a clinic for? Thank you!
I am 26 and had similar pain in my wrists. A few weeks ago it seemed to be getting significantly worse. Last week the affected area seemed to travel a few inches further and it got so painful that I couldn’t drive or even totally dress myself. (luckily I have a nice boyfriend to help with those things)
I went to the doctor and he said I have arthritis. I’m now taking 1 prescription, 1 supplement, and tylenol in addition to using heat and aspercream. (spelling?) … I’m tired of doing all this stuff, but this week I’m not hurting near as much as I was last week.
I think that your pain is worth going to a clinic for. It could be something similar to what i have. Mine was probably originally caused by a car wreck I was in 8 years ago. Or you could have an infection or pinched nerve or something. … Whatever it is, if this is not going away it is better to get it treated now than it is to wait for it to get worse.
