Ladies Mountain Bike Cheap
What about my bike?
I just bought a used bike for cheap. (Magna 15 Speed Ladies Mountain Bike) The level for the rear is low, and both brakes screech to a halt. Does anyone know specifically what is wrong with him and how much it would cost for tools to fix it myself? I'm trying to figure out whether it would be cheaper to get a friend to fix it, or just take it to the store and pay $ 45 cost of new parts for a tune basic. Yes, it is one of the cheapies from Walmart / Target. I ended up taking the bike to the store just to take a look at the brakes, and the guy said that pills Brake probably only had to lightly sand. Everything else seems fine. Thank you all!
Tuija: If the bicycle is used, but new to you, is a good idea to carry a bike shop and have them look. The brakes may squeak a couple of reasons: bad pills, misalignment of shoes, wheel rims dirty … A good shop mechanic can look at and understand the sources of these issues. The brake lever tight can also be caused by different things. So it's really is worth taking a good store for the first time. Once I have the bike working as well as you can, you can learn to maintain and fix – hopefully one issue at a time. I'll post keeping something good bike links in the Resources section below.
