Is it a legal requirement to have liability to allow motocross practice on private land?
My brother, a farmer can motocross enthusiasts to use their land for practical purposes. Recently, a pilot out of his bike and broke his foot and is now suing me brother in law saying that crashed into an obstacle course, where does the law stand on this issue.
Assuming you are in the United Kingdom, it would be stupid not to have liability insurance if you let someone use your land for any purpose, let alone something as potentially dangerous as motocross. He was and is, if it is what allows you to keep going, responsible for any injury that occurs on their land knowing that the search may be engaged in. different if all you are allowed a public footpath through the fields, but still it was better to be careful that he addressed himself from time to time and eliminated any potential danger.
