horrible! horrible! help!?
Ok, so I've been borrowing my boyfriend bike because I've been living on my college campus for the summer and bike to work office on campus. In recent weeks there had been riding the bike and then yesterday when I went to go look it was gone. I sent an email to the maintenance department on campus about it, and told me that since there was a "tag" summer it had been collected and donated to a bike shop. This means to cut the lock and took it, because he had locked in the carrier. What do I tell my boyfriend? I was already cautious about me using it for the summer – and has now completely disappeared. I do not know what to do, and I know he will be so mad at me. Help!
Tell him the truth about what happened as soon as possible and offer to replace the bike. Everyone makes mistakes. The bike is just one thing, it's not worth nearly as much as to a loved one.
