Mountain Bike Tires
What are some good mountain bike tires to slick rock conditions?
I'm going to Moab next week and I'm used to ride on earth. What are some good rock tires to throw on my bike?
Corran Hey, you're going to have a good time in Moab! I go every years and use a different tire each time. Last tires I used was a Kenda "Nevegal stick-E UST with 35 pounds. air pressure. I weigh 95 lbs. and these tires have performed very well! But you know everybody had different tires on our last trip and no one has had problems with traction. Everyone ran a tire filled with tacos and most were using UST or tubeless. I remember that some drivers were using the Panaracer Fire UST and UST Maxxis high rollers. We meet some fans of the way of crawling around the rocks with their off-road machines. Most were using huge tires knobbied and forwarded to something like 10 pounds of air pressure.
