What’s a better birthday gift for an avid road biker?
A truck bike rack or a repair bike stand?
My opinion.. I say a truck bike rack, I have a hitch bike rack for my truck and whenever I need to oil the chain, clean the bike, etc. I just put the bike on the hitch bike rack.
Of course, the Bike Stand would be nice, but for real repairs, adjusting gears and all that.. I take my bikes to my local bike shop, because most local bike shops offer adjustments for free (if you bought the bike there).
Plus, I wouldn’t want to put a $1000+ bike in the bed of my truck and let it bounce around, it’ll mess up the bike.
So, if it were my birthday I’d give you a bigger hug if I opened my gift and it was a hitch bike rack for my truck..
