Reviews Bike Helmets

Learner-legal bikes on a budget: recommendations?
I am looking at buying a 125 as a town runabout, as my big 2L car is such a waste of fuel for in-town trips and such a pain to find/pay for parking.
I have my CBT certificate, so I am only interested in learner-legals. I want a geared bike as I want to get some practise and experience for when I take DAS in 6-9 months or so when I’ve saved up enough money.
My budget is about £1200-1500 for bike, full set of kit (except helmet, I have one) and TPFT insurance.
I don’t want a 2-stroke (e.g. Aprilia), and would rather stick with established manufacturers than Chinese copies.
I am also 5″6 tall and might find bikes with a huge seat height difficult.
I have narrowed it down to the CG125 or YBR125. The CBR125 is nice and gets great reviews, but probably too expensive (same for the Varadero 125).
Opinions on which is better? Any other models I should be looking at? How much have other members spent on similar bikes?
I’m guessing you’re looking to buy something used since you’re only looking to spend 1200-1500. I’m in the US so i can’t say much on how much each bike is, but i have heard nothing but praises from a few uk bikers i know about the cbr125.
The YZF-R125 is supposed to have even more features though and i have heard a lot of interest in the new suzuki gsxr125. Haven’t heard much in the way of reviews, but both look very nice…
This place has more info than i can give you…

BTW, most people i’ve talked to have spent at least 2K on their bike and gear.
