Why is my rear tire bike vibrating and making humming?
Yesterday, on the way home from work, my chain came off. I had no want to play with him, so I walked home and fixed once he arrived there. I rode around the block and everything was fine. Today, on my way to work, I realized the end everything is vibrating and making a buzzing sound. I checked the chain and is good, but it is very difficult to pedal. Besides, I was standing the bike and pushed him back and forth .. and the rear tire no longer wants to go. I checked the back defense, and not rub the web. The vibrations and the difficulty to make seem to come from the center. The part of the tree, I guess. I know nothing about bikes and I can not go to a bike shop this weekend for repairs .. Does anyone have any idea or suggestion? Thank you very much. By the way, I have a Huffy Cranbrook Cruiser, and live in New Orleans. Tons of potholes and generally just bad roads and plenty of summer rain.
It seems that the ball bearings in the center have gone wrong. If you ride your bike enough on hot days, you can burn fat around your ball and you will start grinding against each other. You may have to go ahead and get a new rear tire, but if the wheel is expensive, you could only get a grant to change out the center. Hope this helped. Trust me, I speak from personal experience I'm not just talking. Me and my friend were avid cyclists and this was a problem for us two, but only during the summer.
