Is it ‘manly’ to fix your bicycle and have very dirty (and a bit bloody) hands?
Yesterday I spent about four hours fixing my bike’s brakes, chain, pedals, rear wheel and tyre, and cleaning and oiling it – I did cut a few fingers and ended-up with really black hands (with some red bits!) and dirty clothes…
I was walking along the road to my place and with me tool bag and a wrench in me hand – A lovely lady in the street winked at me and said: ” dirtyyyyyy…… ” with a cheeky smile..
Do you think she thought that I was disgusting because I was dirty (not smelly, put lots of deodorant), or she said that because she though I was hot…?
PS: I was wearing jeans and sleeveless vest)
Its just a fleeting glance of a flirtacious girl telling you that you are cool. She did not refer to your dirty look and bloody hands, she gave you a hint to approach her and take things forward. Next time, be clean. I think you may have a future girlfriend in her.
