My boyfriend and I moved to California and want to find the best place to raise my son of 9 years.?
We love hiking, yoga, health food (we vegetarians) biking, reading (nice library / libraries are important) that good schools are diverse and open minded. A very safe area which is full of cultural things to do, museums, parks, beaches.Nice year the climate throughout the year. It need not be disneyland want my son to see the real world, but I want a somewhat family oriented. I have so many places on my list I have to cut, please someone who has lived in Cali for a while help! For now we are looking for an apartment then after it settled in a place we love going to find a home. What about a good area of Los Angeles? and does anyone know about Simi Valley, San Diego, Diamond Bar, Sonoma, Moorpark thanks in advance and thanks for all the responses have been published, very useful!
as lon said, Thousand Oaks is one of the safest, well-rounded, major cities located in California less than 30 minutes from the beach less than an hour to Los Angeles and one hour 45 to Santa Barbara you're close enough to big cities, without having to live there and are upset about the qualities of shit of them live in Thousand Oaks and I have over 18 years I would not that to live anywhere else I wish I could raise my children there, but …. very close, is Westlake, Frou Frou community luxurious spoiled teen community Disrespectful is no money runs everything and all the kids drive a BMW or Mercedes also houses cost a fortune now to make sure you do not have your child go Westlake high when their elders also look in Camarillo a big city its about 15 miles north of Thousand Oaks and is a little cheaper, but I know tons of great People who grew up there and is a very safe, fun, beautiful city with luck you'll be able to enjoy one of these cities as long as I GL Simi Valley, while strong, is known as white trash and a lot of drugs in secondary schools LA q isn't really where I want to raise their children to be honest Moorpark is nice, the growth of a big city is just bored or asked not to have any of
