Specialized 2010 Bike Reviews

Has anyone tried the Specialized Hardrock Pro Disc 2010 mountain bike? Is it good?

I have just bought one, waiting for it to come in the store. Cant find any reviews online as its so new.
Ok, thanks, what hydraulic disc brakes would you recommend? How much are they, and how much do you think they would cost to get fitted?
I got mine 3 days ago, rides sweet, brakes are pretty sweet. Happy all round. Thanks

You wont find anyone riding 2010 spesh’s yet. They arent shipping them till the end of the month. 7/29 I think it was.

The Hardrock pro is a very solid bike, nothing crazy but certainly nothing crappy either. Make a nice 1st mountain bike.

For brakes, go with the Avid Elixirs. They’re pretty cheap and absolutely destroy the old Juicy lineup in terms of performance. You can get them for less than $100 per wheel and they perform nearly as well as brakes that are 2-3 times as much, like the Codes or Code 5′s. Shouldnt cost more than $15-20 to install unless they need to bleed them as well, in which case you’re probably looking at $20-30 per wheel.
