Thule Racks Bike
Can a Thule 910 Step 2 rack trunk mount bike fit in a 2008 Honda fit Sport model with a spoiler? Photos?
I'm looking to put a rack on my 2008 Honda Fit Sport, but the roof rack is expensive / complicated and hitch it seems to get in the way of the hatch, and more cumbersome and involve more of the installation. I wonder what the trunk and hatch mounting racks work with the setting, especially given that there is a spoiler not like the pressure of the straps on it. Any help and pictures to show a good trunk mount installation would be helpful. I found some days he had made some a little foam on the wing to protect it from wear due to the straps. If you do not have information about your vehicle, however, then it is best to visit a store that carries the frame you want and test it for fit. Definitely be careful with the straps will not chafe paint or crack the spoiler …. been there done that! I would not use foam protection, personally. I've seen different types of foam are causing abrasions both bike and canoe rides. In addition, the frame saw with protective foam block was not exactly a hard and firm with the mountain bike that was in him, so in potholes that swayed a bit more than expected mine. : O)
